Aeronet Communications

Aeronet is a web design and development company here in the Bay Area. I have contracted design work with them since 2000. They asked me to help them visualize a new idea for their website.
At the time, they wanted to use a gardening metaphor to express various aspects of “growing” websites. They wanted custom illustrations for four sections of the site, strategy, design, technology and hosting. They also wanted a new logo to go with this new design.
This example contains a design draft of the basic simple, clean layout for html content and a section for the flash illustrations and animation with the new logo above.
After exploring several ideas for their new site, Aeronet ended up with a site quite different than this original idea. I imagine it’s even more difficult for a web company to decide on their look than most!
